Taipei, Taiwan -- LevelOne today announced the receipt of two product design awards at the 2008 International Design Forum competition (iF) held in Hannover, Germany.
The iF was established in 1953 to recognize "well-designed industrial goods". Over the years it has grown into one of the premier international design competitions, covering 14 different product categories.
LevelOne submitted 2 entries in the computers category and won a design award for both products submitted:
"We couldn't be happier with this result," says marketing director Troy Chen. "We've put a lot of effort into our new designs because we know users want more than just a boring box sitting on their desktop."
With more end users becoming technologically-aware, design has become an important element that factors into the purchase of new networking gear, Chen continues.
821 awards were granted out of a total 2,771 products. Contestants from 35 different countries submitted entries in the highly competitive, international event.
As the only European networking brand, LevelOne continues its tradition of providing unique and well-designed products for the home and small office.
